A classic T-shirt silhouette with a slightly wider and longer body.
We needed something that looks is perfect for these real hot summer days and is also a great basic tee for layering. For this reason, we've engineered a brand new fabric, the Geppaku (月白 is a white colour with a light bluish tint reminiscent of moonlight). It is designed for ultimate breathability and to drape nicely. We developed a combed yarn from a high quality cotton, which undergoes a final spinning process to remove about 15% to 20% of the short, immature fibres. That leaves only the the long fibres which are then aligned in parallel to become stronger and more durable yarn. But the fabric also becomes softer to the touch and produces less fluffing. We then take two of these these yarns are and knit them together to create the Geppaku which is ideal for summer with its blueish shade of white. It is cool and crisp to the touch, almost likle linen and the great thing about this fabric is that it becomes nicer with every wash, so this is truly a base layer you can enjoy for years to come!
